RandomAlec's new PC build is official!

| |

After literally just receiving the first component of my new computer build, I decided it was the best time to post all about it. Don't worry, this won't be a massive post.

As many of you should already know, I am building a new desktop computer after my recent nightmare with laptops from two different companies. Too many issues and too many risks trying to rely on a laptop as my single computer lately. So, I finally gave in and am purchasing a new desktop computer.

Well, I am purchasing all the parts and building it myself...

So, I just received the Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB Solid State Drive that I will be using with my new computer. Purchased it on eBay brand new and saved about $20-30 doing so.

The rest of the computer build is as follows:

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM  Liquid CPU Cooler (Purchased)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Formula EATX  LGA1155 Motherboard

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 680 2GB Video Card (2-Way SLI)

If you have any great websites to purchase any components I still haven't acquired please let me know. I am currently using to help me keep track of the lowest prices available, and it seems to be working out really well.

That's really all I wanted to post, just a list of what my computer will end up being in all its guts and glory.
